CV

Born in Mainz, Susanne Schmieden studied german literature, comparative literature, and philosophy at the University of Tübingen between 2006 and 2013, finishing with a M.A. She spent one year of her studies at the University of Zurich. Between 2010 and 2015 she was also doing internships and worked as an assistant in a publishing company, in the theater, and in several fields of university administration.

She started working as a research associate to Prof. Dr. Christine Abbt at the SNSF project “Meddlesome and Curious”. On the Realization of Democratic Freedom in Forms of the Non-Identical at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Lucerne in May 2015.
