Patricia Hongler studied General History and German Literature at the University of Zurich. She completed her MA in 2012 with a thesis on the "Swiss volunteers for development aid" (1964-1974). From 2008 to 2012 she was a student assistant at the chair for the history of technology at ETH Zurich. Since July 2012 she works as a research assistant at the SNSF professorship of Professor Daniel Speich Chassé. In her PhD Thesis she analyses the role of economic knowledge during decolonisation with a special focus on the history of the OEEC and the OECD.
