CV

Laura Lots studied Political Science and Islamic Studies at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and Bosphorus University in Istanbul (Turkey). Following completion of her Bachelor's degree, she earned her Master's degree in the joint degree program Religion, Politics, Economy at the Universities of Basel, Zurich and Lucerne.

During her studies she held a full scholarship awarded by the Protestant Academic Foundation. She also worked as a research assistant on Ecclesiastical contributions to the sustainable consolidation of peace in post-conflict societies, a project at the Department of International Relations at the University of Freiburg and at the Think Tank Center for European Policy in Freiburg. Since 2013 she has been working at the Centre for Religion, Politics, Economy at the University of Lucerne.
