Book Release «Sex and Gender Differences in Alzheimer’s Disease»
On August 2, 2021, the book "Sex and Gender Differences in Alzheimer's Disease" - the first book in a series of books in collaboration with Elsevier - was published.
The book was published under the editorship of Dr. Maria Teresa Ferretti (Chief Scientific Officer, Women's Brain Project), Dr. Anne Marie Schumacher Dimech (Program Manager, CAS Palliative Care at the University of Lucerne and President of the Women’s Brain Project) and Dr. med. Antonella Santuccione Chadha (CEO pro bono Women’s Brain Project and Vice President Euresearch).
This book offers a 360 degree view of Alzheimer's Disease from a sex and gender lens. The 11 chapters present the knowledge and expertise of over 60 authors from neuroscience, medicine, psychology, artificial intelligence, communication, ethics and other scientific fields.
