Center for Health, Policy and Economics
The Center for Health, Policy, and Economics (CHPE) at the University of Lucerne promotes innovative research and teaching in the area of health economics and policy. Members of the CHPE are committed to improving the health of the population by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the health system through the creation, dissemination and implementation of new scientific evidence.
The CHPE offers a unique environment for collaboration among researchers from diverse backgrounds, such as health, medicine, economics, political science, and law. Within the study programs offered by the University of Lucerne, the CHPE supports students in acquiring the essential skills needed to understand and solve the challenges that complex health systems face at present and in the future.
