Biographical Notice

Jonas Pfister, born 1977 in Zürich, studied philosophy and history in Berne and Paris. He holds a PhD from the University of Berne. The thesis entitled "The Metaphysics and epistemology of Meaning" - in large parts a construction of Grice’s philosophy of language - has been published by Ontos in 2007. He has been teaching assistant at the University of Berne, associate member of the research group meaning.ch and 2008-09 PostDoc researcher at the Center for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN) in Oslo. He joined the team as a research assistant in 2011.
