Mini talks “Health and Functioning”
- September 3 and 4, 2011
The Department Health Sciences and Health Policy will have an active part in the open house days of the university of Lucerne on September 3rd and 4th and will organize short lectures for the “talks”. Three PhD students will present their research on health and functioning on September 3rd at 3 pm (room 3.B58).

PhD Research Festival
- November 11 and 12, 2011
- The 2nd PhD Research Festival will be from November 11th to 12th this year. The event will be organized and hosted by PhD students of the Department Health Sciences and Health Policy and its cooperation partner Swiss Paraplegic Research as well as doctoral students of the Swedish Institute of Disability Research (SIDR) and the university of Örebro.
The PhD Festival is a great opportunity for PhD students to present and discuss their research projects. More detailed information will follow shortly.

ERASMUS cooperation with the university of Örebro, Sweden
The Department Health Sciences and Health Policy signed an ERASMUS contract with the Swedish university of Örebro. The goal of this agreement is the exchange of students (Ph.D. level) and teaching staff. The first achievements of this fruitful cooperation is a block course on interdisciplinarity and the PhD Research Festival which will be hosted in Nottwil and Lucerne with the Swedish colleagues this upcoming November.
