Biographical Notice

From 2004 to 2008 Lisa Schmalzried studied philosophy, logic and philosophy of science (M.Phil.) at the LMU Munich. One year of her studies she spent at the University of St. Andrews. Simultaneously to her studies, she attended the Bavarian EliteAcademy. From 2008 to 2012 she did a doctorate at the LMU Munich. The theme of her thesis is: Can we criticize artworks morally and how does the moral value of a work influence its value as an artwork? Since 2008 she works at the Department of Social Psychology of the LMU Munich. 2011 she started her work as an assistant at the Department of Philosophy, University of Lucerne.
