Larry Abramson: The Rose of Jericho
The two main activities of the Institute for Jewish-Christian Research (IJCF) will be highlighted in a historical overview and an international comparison.
The symposium will address the formation of the “Wissenschaft des Judentums” as well as the transition of a “science of Judaism” towards the emergence of Jewish Studies and Israel Studies after World war II. Similarly, the history of Jewish-Christian dialogue, as reflected in the interfaith movement and Dialogue Research since 1945, will be presented and discussed.
