Born in 1984 in Einsiedeln (Schwyz). Attended secondary school in Einsiedeln from 1997–2003. 2004–2010: studied Humanities with a major in History at the University of Lucerne. 2005–2009: editorial work on a variety of local newspapers. January 2008–May 2010: museum employee and archivist at the Stiftung Kulturerbe cultural foundation in Einsiedeln. 2011 onwards: academic employee at the cantonal library in Nidwalden. 2010 onwards: assistant to Professor Jon Mathieu at the University of Lucerne.
Dissertation project: "’Fromme Industrie’ - Die Geschichte des Benziger Verlags Einsiedeln, 1830-1960 (’Pious industry’ - The History of the Benziger Verlag Publishing House in Einsiedeln, 1830–1960).
