Teaching at the University of Lucerne (Incomings)
Teaching staff mobility enables teaching staff of ERASMUS partner universities to spend a teaching period between 1 day - at least 5 teaching hours – and 6 weeks at each others university.
The application deadline is March 1 for the following academic year.
In case of a late application, please contact the Mobility Office of the University of Lucerne. Late applications are only possible under the condition of available capacity.

Signing of a Bilateral ERASMUS Agreement with the University of Lucerne
Teaching Staff mobility with the University of Lucerne can only be effected on the basis of a bilateral ERASMUS agreement. Please consult the International Relations Office of your home university for further information on the signing of new agreements.

As soon as the bilateral ERASMUS agreement has been signed, or if such an agreement already exists, interested teaching staff has to contact the respective department of the University of Lucerne in order to settle the conditions and organisation of the exchange (time period of exchange, duration and type of lecture, possible working space etc.).
The Mobility Office of the University of Lucerne does not place teaching staff of an ERASMUS partner university at departments of the University of Lucerne. Teaching staff, who wants to do an exchange, is responsible for the organisation of the exchange.
Application for the Exchange
Once the organisation of the exchange has been completed with the corresponding department of the University of Lucerne, the teaching staff member has to file its formal application on behalf of the Mobility Office of the University of Lucerne.
Teaching staff of ERASMUS partner universities cannot apply for a grant at the University of Lucerne. Please consult the International Relations Office of your home university for further information on possible grants.
