Hendrik Wortmann received a PhD in Lucerne in 2009 and is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow sponsored by the Swiss National Science Foundation at the Center for Social Theory in Ghent / Belgium. His current research interests lie in the interdisciplinary area of modern evolutionary theory as it relates to questions of classical social theory.
