Bachelor’s Program

The Bachelor of Laws program requires completion of 180 ECTS Credit Points (CP) and an expected period of study of 6 semesters (3 years).

The Bachelor of Laws program is designed to give students the technical, social and personal skills necessary for expert and reliable legal practice in business and society, as well as the fundamentals for further graduate study.

The goal of the first academic year is to, on the one hand, determine the suitability of the student to the program. There is no quota of students for this phase. The examinations at the end of the first year (First Year Examinations) are not meant to determine a certain percentage or absolute number of students to continue, but to pass all of the students who have proven themselves capable and competent in their study achievements.

On the other hand, the goal of the first academic year is to also acquire sufficient technical and analytical skills in the subjects taught and think like a lawyer.
