Tadas Žukas joined the University of Lucerne in 2004.

Born in 1979, Tadas Žukas was educated at the Mykolas Romeris University Faculty of Law in Vilnius (LL.B. summa cum laude) and at the University of Zurich (LL.M. in International Business Law). In 2001, he studied one semester at the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel in the framework of the Socrates/Erasmus program. He also obtained a certificate in American Business Law from the Tulane University Law School in 2003.

Tadas Žukas has working experience as an advocate in Lithuania, as a legal counsel with Siemens Legal Services Zurich, legal advisor to the Vice-President of the Lithuanian Parliament, intern with the Institute for the European Studies of the University of Zurich as well as with various other Lithuanian and German legal institutions.

He has been a member of the Lithuanian Bar since 2005.

Ph.D.-research area:
Reception of the Unidroit Principles of International Commercial Contracts and Principles of European Contract Law in Lithuania.
