Prof. Christoph Beat Graber, leader of the i-call team, and his research group received the swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research (td-award).
The Award is the highest research prize of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. It is allocated by the jury of the td-net for transdisciplinary research and supported by Mercator Foundation Switzerland.
It was bestowed for the transdisciplinary research conducted by the Project Leader and his team for the prior “eDiversity” project (funded by the SNF within the first phase of the NCCR “International Trade Regulation” research project) and its continuation within the current IT ICH project. The eDiversity project sought a deeper understanding of the conditions that European and international law sets for national governments in respect of the regulation of media markets in the globally networked digital environment.
You can find a detailed statement on the td-award and some pictures here.
