Workshop "Image as a Model" | University of Lucerne | Jan 31 - Feb 1, 2008
  • The assumption underlying the workshop is that the analysis of images can be enriched and productively irritated if it is confronted with studies of models, especially those developed in practice-oriented science studies. There, a multidisciplinary research field has developed in the last few years that considers models (and simulations) from the perspectives of history, sociology, and the philosophy of science.
